A day at Farmers

After church, we went to Farmers to buy Johnny our regular hairdresser some baby gifts (he just had a daughter). There was a red dot sale going on, so we looked at baby jumpers etc. Today I wore my grey merino wool sweater from Glassons, blue Sass n Bide skinnies together with my black slouch boots from the Warehouse.

Not sure if you can see, but I'm wearing Shiseido Moisture Mist lipstick in 'Wedding Day'. How hilarious. When I bought it, there was this very solicitous saleslady who kept hovering around me and introducing these funky deep colours. Then when I was paying for my lippie she picked it up and read the colour out loud 'Wedding Day' and then looked at me. I had to go, " No I'm not getting married." *Roll eyes*

This is mum wearing a red turtleneck with a nice black coat we bought last year from the Addington sales.

*sigh* Okay here's where the story gets a bit weird. So we're walking around in Farmers looking at baby stuff, right? And we bypass the jumpers for some cute cot blankets. And there was one in blue with a baby elephant embroidered on it. And it was just so cute and mum thought so too, so we decided to buy it for Johnny. Except the longer I was holding on to it, the more I thought it was very very cute. So I bought myself...

a baby blanket.

I'm wearing it around me like a shawl right now. It's so nice and warm. Yes, I know...I should be ashamed of myself. I'm sure I will once I get over the excitement of how cute the elephant is.
