I have recently discovered that chocolate gives me headaches. You don't know how sad I am to acknowledge this. People who know me know I love chocolate.
How did I stumble upon this hard-to-swallow truth? By process of elimination. I recently went to Nelson where we spent a good portion of our time playing Indiana Jones in the Abel Tasman National Park. NO chocolate. Funnily enough, no headache. I attributed it to plenty of exercise and water.
Came home and told ma," Ma, I've discovered why I keep getting headaches. I didn't drink enough water!" So I kept chugging water down like it was Evian, and I happily bought myself some m&ms to celebrate. Yeah. To celebrate my downfall!!! I had a freaking headache the WHOLE DAY and the DAY AFTER.
I have eliminated chocolate from my diet. I don't really miss it that much. I have substituted it with ice cream. Blame my sweet tooth. The headaches have stopped. Oh evil chocolate, why must I love you so?
