I've got a red heels and I have such a hard time wearing it with black stockings.
Red heels can totally go with black stockings, but clothes need to be all black, or some neutral colours. Or a bit of red also can. And the clothes need to be sleek and structured, or you end up looking like Dorothy from Wizard of Oz.
