Shopping II

Met up with Bronwyn on her lunch break. Had sushi at Westfield. Wore my new scarf. Damn warm, I tell u! Grey merino wool sweater from Glassons, slouch Levi's, belt from Glassons. Billabong uggs.

So we're wandering around the mall and she sez she needs to go pharmacy, get band-aids. For the moles she got cut out of her. She had a mole map done on her some weeks back. Ok, we buy the band-aids. Then she wants to go Farmers, look at dvd recorders. She had been waiting for them to go on sale for months oredi. I know this, cos I went with her a few times. We find it's on sale, so she snaps it up. $800. Oh to be rich.

• Sad case #1: We passed Overland and I find my boots are on sale, 40% DISCOUNT! My heart pain, I tell u! Bron sez they prolly din have my size anyway, so don't think about it too much. I shall console myself with this thought.

• Sad case #2: I was real excited with my tights purchase yesterday, because my old ones were just a lil bit too thin for my liking. So these Jeans West ones were 70 denier, great. I opened them up last night, and macibai if they weren't FOOTLESS TIGHTS!!! Did it say footless tights on the cover? NO! It just said tights. Should sue them for false advertising. Wasted my money.

So before I met up with Bron, I went kia-kia around Farmers and bought 2 pairs of the ones I wanted, Columbine tights and NOT footless ones. They were 70 denier. Nice and warm when I got home and tried them on.

Also bought Almay Smart Shade Makeup. It's supposed to magically transform into your ideal shade! I tried it on at the pharmacy near my house, and it really did work! Well, I tried it on my hand, lah. Oredi have makeup on my face, so I'll try it besok.
